Job Summary
The Mill River Unified Union School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE classroom teacher to join the Mill River Schools community as the 4th grade classroom at Wallingford Elementary School. This position will begin in August 2026. Wallingford Elementary is seeking a professional who works collaboratively has a growth mindset and is a willing and eager learner to join our team of educators. Successful candidates will be ones who are positive work as a part of a team and believe and demonstrate our core is a proficiency based learning school. We are seeking a skilled educator who is passionate about developing the minds of young students. Our curriculum is organized based on proficiencies using a project based learning approach for most curricula. Successful candidates will have a background in teaching science math reading and writing.
