Suffolk Family Carersis looking for a Finance Manager who can steer our financial operations with confidence clarity and care. If you enjoy making processes smoother supporting colleagues and ensuring good financial decisionmaking this role could be a great match.
Whatyoullbe doingasaFinance Manager:
providingclear management accounts andfinancial reports
overseeingcashflow reconciliations and financial controls
working collaboratively with project managers and the widerorganisationto understand how multiple projects interact to form the overallorganisationalpicture
leading budgeting and reforecasting so teams can plan effectively
making sure our reporting meets charity and regulatory requirements
supporting staff with funding applications by providingaccuratefinancial details
working with auditors and helping lead our Finance and Audit Committee meetings
looking for practical ways to improve how we use Xero DEXTApprovalMaxand other finance tools
offering guidance and support to our Finance Officer.
You will:
have a strong understanding of charity finance and SORP
have excellent attention to detail
have experience producing reliablefinancialmanagementreports
have good working knowledge of Xero (or similar) and strong Excel skills
be confident communicating with colleagues whodonthave a finance background
have a structured approach to managing deadlines and multiple tasks
hold an accounting qualification (AAT ACCA ACA CIMA) or equivalent experience
be someone whose valuesalignwith those of theorganisation.
