Were recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing purpose-led organisation based in Cambridge.

As Finance Manager youll take ownership of the month-end process management accounts budgeting cash flow forecasting and financial reporting while supporting wider business operations and leading a junior finance team member.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Lead month-end journals and reporting processes
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting
  • Oversee intercompany invoicing and reconciliations
  • Support annual budgets long-term financial planning and audits
  • Review payroll reports pension submissions and financial allocations
  • Track project income and expenditure across grants and contracts
  • Support senior leadership with board reporting and financial analysis
  • Line manage and develop an Accounts Assistant

About You

Were looking for someone who is hands-on commercially minded and ready to take ownership.

Youll ideally have:

  • ACA ACCA or CIMA qualification (AAT Level 4 considered with strong experience)
  • At least 3 years post-qualified experience
  • Strong management accounts and month-end experience
  • Budgeting and cash flow forecasting knowledge
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Leadership or mentoring experience
  • A proactive solutions-focused approach
