The Role:
This is one of the most influential commercial leadership roles within ECL.
As Chief Commercial Officer you will own the commercial engine of the business. You will be accountable for how ECL sells contracts prices and protects its national customer portfolio.
This is not a strategy role sitting on the sidelines. The frameworks systems and commercial direction are already in place. Your mandate is to bring them to life across the country with discipline consistency and commercial strength.
You will lead sales account management and contract performance across the ECL Group ensuring every major customer SLA and commercial decision aligns with ECLs growth strategy margin expectations and risk profile.
This is a visible hands on executive role operating at the centre of ECLs leadership team working closely with operations finance and the executive to ensure the business wins the right work and delivers it profitably.
- Owning and overseeing all major contracts and multi year SLAs across the ECL Group
- Leading high value customer negotiations renewals and strategic discussions
- Controlling pricing discipline scope clarity margin protection and commercial risk
- Aligning sales and customer strategy with the right markets and long term opportunities
- Driving commercial capability structure and accountability across the national sales function
- Reviewing the current contract portfolio to identify margin leakage risk and exposure
- Strengthening commercial and legal foundations across all future contracts
- Partnering with operations and finance to ensure what is sold can be delivered profitably
- Building and leading a high performing national sales and account management team
About You:
You are an experienced commercial leader who understands how high value contracts shape a business.
You bring commercial judgement negotiation strength and the confidence to lead complex customer conversations while protecting the long term interests of the company.
You will have:
- 5 years experience in the Oil Gas or Energy sector
- Extensive experience managing and negotiating multi year SLAs
- A strong track record leading complex commercial negotiations
- Sharp commercial judgement around pricing margin and risk
- Experience leading sales and account management teams
- The credibility and backbone to challenge both customers and internal stakeholders
- A structured analytical approach to commercial performance and decision making
Experience within infrastructure energy technology or national services businesses will be highly regarded.
