About MezePay:
MezePay is a payment system for restaurants that allows customers to scan a QR code to view their bill split the check add a tip and pay instantly. It is not a funding or financing company itself but a tool for streamlining the payment process.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead quality assurance
strategy for MezePay. This role is responsible for building and maintaining robust automation
frameworks and ensuring comprehensive test coverage across frontend backend and integration
layers. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with Python-based automation
frameworks performance and load testing Kubernetes environments and distributed storage
systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design implement and maintain scalable automated test frameworks (UI API integration).
Build automation using Python (pytest Selenium/Playwright requests SQLAlchemy).
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with enforced quality gates.
Validate services running in Kubernetes (manual and automated testing).
Develop test coverage for ClickHouse PostgreSQL and DynamoDB data layers.
Design and execute load/performance testing using k6 JMeter or Locust.
Perform SQL-based validation and scripting for test data management.
Collaborate with product and engineering to define testable acceptance criteria.
Required Qualifications:
6 years of automation testing experience (front-end and back-end).
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes.
Hands-on Python automation expertise (pytest Selenium/Playwright requests SQLAlchemy).
Experience with Kubernetes environments.
Experience with ClickHouse PostgreSQL DynamoDB.
Strong SQL and scripting skills.
Experience with load testing tools (k6 JMeter Locust).
Understanding of HTTP(s) XML JSON HTML CSS JS.
Experience with Jira Confluence Git.
Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
Familiarity with observability tools (logs metrics tracing).
Experience in fintech or high-availability SaaS platforms.
Exposure to security testing practices.
