QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Kindgeek is looking for a detail-driven engineer who takes genuine ownership of quality and cares about the reliability of every release. Your mission will be to build robust automation frameworks validate complex backend systems and be the person the team trusts to catch issues before they reach this role you will directly shape the stability of a fast-moving fintech platform and help the engineering team ship with confidence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a QA Automation Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining automated test frameworks using Cypress Selenium and Playwright;
- Creating and executing test cases for new features to ensure correct and complete coverage;
- Performing API and backend testing to validate system behaviour and data integrity;
- Conducting manual testing where needed to complement automated coverage and confirm full scope;
- Analysing logs and system flows to identify issues understand root causes and accelerate resolution;
- Documenting and tracking defects with clear reproduction steps evidence and priority context;
- Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to improve overall quality and delivery speed.
REQUIREMENTS
Were looking for a QA Automation Engineer who has:
- 3 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation;
- Strong practical experience with at least one of: Cypress Selenium or Playwright;
- Solid experience with API testing and validating backend system behaviour;
- Ability to design clear maintainable and well-structured test cases;
- Strong debugging skills including log analysis and tracing issues in complex system flows;
- Experience working in fast-paced agile environments where priorities shift and quality cannot slip;
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles and how QA fits across different stages;
- Clear and effective communication skills able to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Comfortable owning quality end-to-end from test planning through to post-release monitoring.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in fintech payments or financial services environments;
- Familiarity with CRM systems or complex multi-service platforms;
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
