Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and motivated InP Engineers and Technicians to join our growing this role you will support the design fabrication and testing of InP-based semiconductor devices. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with III-V semiconductor materials photonics devices and cleanroom processes and a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment for InP wafer processing device fabrication and characterization.
- Perform process development testing and optimization for InP-based devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to materials devices and process flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D manufacturing and quality assurance.
- Document experiments results and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications Engineer Level:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Materials Science Physics or related field.
- Hands-on experience with III-V semiconductors particularly Indium Phosphide.
- Familiarity with MOCVD epitaxy photolithography etching and metallization processes.
- Experience with device testing and characterization techniques (e.g. IV CV optical measurements).
- Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
Qualifications Technician Level:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field.
- Experience in semiconductor fabrication photonics or cleanroom environments.
- Proficiency in operating laboratory and process equipment.
- Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Engineers & Technicians):
- Knowledge of InP-based lasers modulators and photonic integrated circuits.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols safety procedures and quality standards.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing or R&D environment.
