Job Summary

Koniag Operations Services LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Part time Nurse to support KOS and our government customer in Glynco GA. This position is covered under the Service Contract Act. HMs are required to provide the following information such as:Good to Have - But Not Required: This helps differentiate between two or more good direct nursing care within the scope of services defined by Koniag Operations Services LLC for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Health Unit to include basic occupational health care personalized health counseling and appropriate medical and wellness referrals for clients presenting in the occupational health center or outreach event for occupational health Job Functions: Detail the minimum requirements necessary for a candidate to qualify for the position (e.g. years of experience education skills etc.). The more information Recruiting receives the more refined the search for candidates will components of physical exams which may include but are not limited to:Vital signs - varies with different exam requirementsAudiometryVision testingECGSpirometryPhlebotomyTB skin testingDocumentation of all clinical data on all required formsProvides immunizations according to KGS policies SOPs and standing ordersProvide non-emergency care to clients according to RN protocols and under the direction of Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIPs)Administers topical oral intravenous or intramuscular medicationsResponds to emergency calls when required and renders emergency services as neededAssures personal compliance with licensing certification and accrediting bodiesEstablishes and monitors appropriate level of care for clinic patientsEnsures timely and accurate documentation of patient status and patient care activities including treatments procedures and medications prescribedProtects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocolsComply with federal and state privacy laws always respecting a patients confidentialityProtects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocolsEnsures clinical competence and stays abreast of changes in medical managementComply with federal and state privacy laws always respecting a patients confidentialityProtects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocolsPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as requestedProcurement:Report supply issues such as low par levels to the Clinic Nurse ManagerQuality & Safety:Participate in Quality Assurance activities data analysis and review to make improvements within clinic operationsReport site-specific problems to the Clinic Nurse Manager (e.g. staffing difficulties supply issues environment of care hazards onsite operational emergencies etc.) in a timely mannerKnowledge Skills and Abilities:At least two (2) years experience in occupational health or related experience such as publichealth/community health outpatient clinic emergency department or ambulatory healthcare or physician office nursingExcellent communication customer service and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multi-task; ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast paced and deadline driven ability to write routine reports and correspondenceMinimum Education Requirements Certification Licensure Experience:Graduation from NLN accredited school of nursing (AD or BSN)Active RN licensure in the state for which they are hired compact license preferred (NLC)Basic Cardiac Life Suppo1t (BLS) training and possess current certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) preferredNational Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) preferredOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
