Job Summary

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:
Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
Weekly Gross Pay: $1800 $2000 (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Lawton OK is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient conditions administering treatments and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care in a medical-surgical unit.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients during the night shift.
Conduct patient assessments monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to physicians.
Administer medications IV therapy and other treatments as prescribed.
Perform clinical procedures such as wound care catheter insertion and patient monitoring.
Prepare administer and accurately document medications and treatments.
Start IV lines and manage intravenous therapies.
Adjust and monitor specialized medical equipment as required.
Interpret and record patient measurements and clinical data.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications and respond appropriately.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Educate patients and families about treatment plans medications and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians specialists and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
Follow patient safety infection control and hospital policies and protocols.
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Oklahoma or Multistate License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Strong clinical and patient care skills in a Medical-Surgical setting.
