Koniag Government Services is hiring a Procurement Support Intern to support its Contracts and Procurement function through the Shared Services Division. The Procurement Support Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day procurement activities within the department. This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to procurement processes systems and documentation while complementing the interns academic studies. The intern will work under the guidance of procurement professionals and receive structured learning opportunities aligned with academic Functions Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:Manage and streamline subcontract agreement workflows by entering new awards and modifications into JAMIS ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our procurement processesPeriodically generating reports and managing metricsOrganize and maintain digital filesEnsure the maintenance of complete and accurate records in the companys systemsCoordinating with other departments to resolve data issues or questionsSupport the implementation of new policies and procedures through documentation and log maintenanceNon-Disclosure and Teaming Agreement processingProvide general administrative support to the Procurement Team as neededOther organizational projects as assignedWork Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:This position requires US Citizenship due to our Federal contractual obligationMust be a team player willing to ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely mannerMust have a high attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written verbal and communication skills for effective interface with all internal contactsAbility to work independently take ownership of tasking and communicate effectivelyStrong working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications (MS Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint and Outlook)Experience:Currently enrolled in or have recently completed a degree or diploma in: Business Administration Supply Chain Management Finance or a related field.
