Mobile catering assistant

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and snacks ensuring all items meet our organizations standards
• Maintain strict compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and Food Safety procedures at every location
• Keep kitchen counter and service areas consistently clean organized and hygienic throughout your shift
• Deliver friendly efficient and professional service to all customers while representing our brand positively
• Support site-based teams by adapting quickly to different kitchen environments and operational requirements
• Manage inventory and supplies effectively reporting any shortages or concerns to management
• Operate mobile catering equipment safely and responsibly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experiences

Qualifications :

**Required Skills and Experience:**

• Proven experience in food preparation or catering assistance
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to maintain high standards of kitchen and personal hygiene
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Reliable transportation and valid driving license (essential for mobile role)
• Flexibility to adapt to different work locations and schedules
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

• Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working in mobile or multi-site catering operations
• Experience with catering software or point-of-sale systems
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management
• Experience in a school or institutional catering environment
