Mobile catering assistant

As a mobile catering assistant you will play a vital role in supporting our site-based teams while maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and customer care.

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and snacks ensuring all items meet our culinary standards
• Maintain strict compliance with Health and Safety regulations and Food Safety procedures at all times
• Keep kitchen counter and service areas clean organized and hygienic throughout each shift
• Provide friendly efficient and professional service to all customers while representing our brand positively
• Support the catering team in a collaborative manner demonstrating flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
• Manage inventory and supplies effectively reporting any shortages or concerns promptly
• Operate mobile catering equipment safely and responsibly
• Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment for both team members and customers
• Ensure all food handling practices meet regulatory standards and company procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications :

**Required Skills and Experience:**

• Proven experience in food preparation or catering assistance (or willingness to learn with on-the-job training)
• Strong understanding of Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to maintain high standards of personal and kitchen hygiene
• Reliable own transport and valid drivers license for mobile working
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work varied schedules as required
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working in a mobile or multi-site catering environment
• Experience with catering equipment and food service operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles
• Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Willingness to support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture
