SW Engineer Sr Consultant Level (Java Full stack, React, AWS, GenAI 11-14 years' experience)

The Opportunity: 

We are looking for Versatile curious and energetic Sr Consultant - Software Engineer who embrace solving complex challenges on a global scale.  As a Visa Sr Consultant - Software Engineer you will be an integral part of a multi-functional development team inventing designing building and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. While building components of powerful payment technology you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.   

• Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing Visas internal standards for scalability security and reusability 
• Works directly with product owners to gather and refine requirements across products adding and taking into account existing tools and solutions across the organization.
• Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings 
• Actively contribute to product quality improvements valuable service technology and new business flows in diverse agile squads 
• Develops and designs advanced architect solutions that are robust and scalable considering integrations with other solutions across the internal technical ecosystem.
• Provides domain expertise on the development of technical documentation of solutions and contributes to standard processes in technical documentation as needed.
• Plays a key role in the development and delivery of new features across products from end-to-end.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 11 years of experience building enterprisegrade applications
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture including service decomposition API design and interservice communication
• Handson experience developing Javabased Microservices
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and applying modern backend development best practices
• Handson experience with ReactJS for building modern responsive web applications
• Handson experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including Author Publisher and Dispatcher
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture content lifecycle replication caching and Dispatcher configuration
• 4 years of handson programming experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and supporting distributed scalable concurrent and lowlatency systems
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• At least 2 years of handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure
• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) concepts and integrations including: Using large language models (LLMs) via APIs
• Prompt engineering and model integration into applications
• Responsible AI considerations (security privacy and governance)
• Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar mechanisms for integrating tools data sources and context with GenAIpowered systems
