Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- In-depth knowledge of account receivables management and cash application
- Assist with revenue recognition by ensuring its done timely in our financial system
- Log and maintain key contract terms in the contract database. Analyze newly executed contracts to assess appropriate billing and accounting implications
- Prepare complex pricing adjustment calculations (both accrual and cash basis)
- Provide guidance to the Billing team on appropriate billing system changes related to contracts
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Visa core billing and reporting systems
- Review and approve complex journal entries and communicate complex business issues to the team or stakeholders
- Experience in general accounting flux analysis reconciliations manual journal entries and analytical research of accounting issues
- Perform ongoing reviews of revenue operations process and controls to mitigate the risks of potential errors.
- Contribute to continuous enhancements to increase value add and process simplifications
- Establish and maintain relationships across a broad base of stakeholders specifically regional teams and serves as a key point of contact for Rev Ops issues
- Support ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed
- Working with multiple stakeholders to optimize pricing and product implementations and changes.
- Reviewing contracts to assess Visas contractual pricing obligations.
- Managing pricing setups billing and the related accounts receivable and accounting
- Analyzing revenue fee drivers client-reported data and other related metrics to identify revenue opportunities and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of reported data.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting/Finance with 3 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Detail oriented
Able to work independently in a cross-functional environment
Comfortable working with a heavy volume of data
Able to perform under pressure with tight deadlines accustomed to a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
Able to contribute new ideas and solutions for current processes and to address business challenges
Strong organizational and project-management skills: plan organize and adapt within a multi-tasking environment
Able to simultaneously manage multiple issues and projects
Self-motivated
Willing to utilize and learn new technology to solve problems
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience working in an e-commerce environment with an understanding of payment industry is a plus
