Job Summary

As a valued team member your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking worksite functional ergonomic equipment and home assessments
  • Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
  • Liaising with clients insurers medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
  • Designing implementing and monitoring exercise programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
  • Teach coach and motivate clients to facilitate self-management of exercise and healthy lifestyle using models of behaviour change scientific evidence and clinical reasoning and accounting for sociocultural and individual factors
  • Design implement and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions based on referral information presenting pathologies and co-morbidities clinical reasoning pre-intervention assessments and the analysis interpretation and application of scientific evidence.
  • Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required.
  • Complete accurate case notes which reflect actions undertaken and any recommendations to achieve the Return to Work and Health goal.

Qualifications :

What youll bring to the role

  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Exercise Physiology 
  • Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is required)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
