Hilton Stockholm Slussen is now looking for an à la carte qualified chef to join our kitchen team. You will join an international organisation with the possibility of an international career. Hilton Stockholm Slussen is located with a view over the old addition to the 289 guest rooms and large meeting & event facilities we operate a bar and restaurants.

As an à la carte chef at Hilton Stockholm Slussen you will be part of our Eken restaurant team cooking Nordic and European influenced cuisine with a strong focus on showcasing quality Swedish produce. You will work with both Swedish classical dishes and a variety of international food cultures for our guests. • Following all food safety hygiene and sanitation standards including HACCP with care and accountability.
• Working confidently both independently and as part of a supportive collaborative team.
• Communicating openly and respectfully with colleagues across departments helping to create a positive inclusive and safe workplace.
• Upholding hotel security fire regulations and all health safety and food safety legislation at all times.

Qualifications What We Are Looking For

• A culinary education such as culinary school or Hotel & Restaurant training with a focus on the kitchen or equivalent documented education or hands-on experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a chef with a strong background in à la carte cooking. Experience within a hotel or larger restaurant environment is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English with conversational Swedish skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to work a varied schedule including daytime and evening shifts as well as weekends.
• This is a full-time position with an initial six-month probationary period. Employment terms are governed by the local collective agreement between VISITA and HRF.
