About North East Link

The Federal and Victorian Governments have announced the preferred bidder for the tunnelling package for the North East Link Project - Victorias biggest road project.

North East Link Primary Package PPP provides three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbournes freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway reducing journey times by up to 35 minutes and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads.. Up to 135000 vehicles will use North East Link every day reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads for local trips.

The Spark consortium - which comprises RA membersWebuild CPB Contractors Ventia and Pacific Partnerships along with GS Engineering and Construction China Construction Oceania Capella Capital John Laing Investments and DIF - will deliver the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project.

About the Opportunity

To support the delivery of the North East Link we are seeking expressions of interest from project personnel for the Design team with proven infrastructure project experience to be a part of an iconic construction project based in Melbourne Victoria.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ideally previous experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor on a construction project
• Proven experience in successfully delivering large work packages
• Excellent awareness of and attitude towards Safety
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivation and drive to achieve value-for-money results
