Job Summary
Lead Engineer Land Infrastructure
Were expanding our Tauranga team and looking for a Lead Engineer to help deliver complex multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
Youll work across transport land development utilities water and government projects collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver practical infrastructure solutions. The role combines technical delivery client engagement and mentoring junior engineers within a growing regional team.
How Youll Contribute:
- Deliver civil infrastructure design across roads drainage utilities earthworks and land development projects within transport water energy and government sectors
- Prepare high-quality technical reports and design documentation to budget and deadlines
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
- Support proposal preparation and project delivery across the national Land Infrastructure team
- Work directly with clients to understand challenges and develop practical engineering solutions
What are we looking for from you
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- Around 10 years experience in civil infrastructure design
- Experience delivering roads drainage utilities earthworks and pavement design
- Practical knowledge of industry software such as 12d or Civil 3D
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with clients and stakeholders
- A collaborative and positive mindset interested in mentoring and developing engineers
