About the role Mō te tūranga mahi

As the Fraud Operational Performance Analyst you will play a key role in building confidence in our performance measures through developing and maintaining accurate and timely reporting analysis and performance insights for the wider Fraud Prevention and Investigation team. Youll design and maintain dashboards develop predictive models and provide timely relevant analytics that drive informed decision making.

Fraud Prevention and Investigation are developing performance measures for the proactive prevention of fraud. You will be a valuable contributor to our development of these metrics to ensure they are robust best practice and easily understood. Youll also support the ongoing tracking and monitoring of these metrics.

Youll thrive in this role if you enjoy working collaboratively across teams tackling complex problems with curiosity and creativity while looking for ways to improve processes. You will be open to learning and sharing ideas that make our analytics smarter and our outcomes stronger.

This is a permanent full-time position within the Fraud Prevention and Investigation team Wellington is preferred however open to consider applications from Auckland/ Christchurch.

About youMōu

  • Experience developing dashboards and operational reports including creating and maintaining dynamic reporting e.g. in Power Bi.

  • Experience in identifying trends and relationships in data using analysis techniques and enhancing analytics over time.

  • Tertiary qualification in statistics data science or a related discipline.

  • Ability to quickly understand complex information and provide compelling insights in both a visual and written way

  • Strongly collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working with customers to understand and clarify needs.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $85037 and $110047 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
