Job Description:

Length of term: 4 months (Summer 2026)

Youll be part of a dynamic team supporting client relationships contributing to real business operations and gaining hands-on experience that will set you apart in your future career. From attending and supporting client meetings to supporting marketing initiatives and learning about financial products youll get exposure to multiple facets of the business.

What will you do

Client Support & Business Development

  • Deliver exceptional experience to clients at the Financial Centre
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls and coordinate meetings and appointments
  • Act as the primary point of contact for FC management and staff supporting daily operations and administrative tasks

Financial Documentation & Analysis

  • Prepare and maintain client files and inventory systems ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Create insightful production reports and portfolio analyses that empower stakeholders

Marketing & Recruitment

  • Contribute to impactful marketing campaigns and create professional materials
  • Design social media campaigns to source and engage potential advisors

General Office Support

  • Execute accurate and timely processing of mail and payments
  • Provide technical support and escalate issues as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and optimize team performance

Technical Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Comfortable with Windows-based environments
  • Quick learner with new technology and software systems
  • Experience with SharePoint or Oracle is an asset

Education & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
  • Previous customer service retail or administrative experience is an asset
  • Genuine interest in financial services and helping clients

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other addition to Base Pay eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
