Job Summary: SICS is seeking a hands-on Google Workspace & Chromebook Support Specialist to support our K12 technology environment. This role focuses on Chromebook management and repair light Google Workspace administration and day-to-day IT support that helps keep instruction running with minimal disruption. The position works closely with the IT Director and Network Administrator in support of the schools 1:1 Chromebook Duties and Responsibilities:Chromebook Program Operations & RepairsServe as the primary point of contact for Chromebook support repairs and operational questionsPerform hands-on repairs including screens keyboards trackpads batteries and charging portsDiagnose hardware issues and determine repair versus replacement decisionsEnroll reset and reconfigure devices through the Google Admin ConsoleMaintain a clean repair workspace and organized parts inventoryTrack repairs parts usage warranties and loaner devicesCoordinate vendor repairs when issues exceed in-house capabilitiesSupport device deployment end-of-year collection auditing and redeploymentMaintain a pool of loaner devices and spare equipmentIT Support & Help DeskRespond to support tickets in a timely and professional mannerProvide in-person support for staff and classroomsTroubleshoot common issues including logins printing smartboards projectors and Wi-Fi connectivityDocument issues repairs and resolutions consistentlyCollaboration & OperationsWork with the IT Director on projects upgrades and process improvementsCoordinate with the Network Administrator on escalated infrastructure issuesAssist with technology rollouts state testing preparation and large-scale deploymentsHelp maintain IT documentation inventory records and standard procedures
