The opportunity
For our business unit Grid Automation we are looking for an HSE Manager based in Madrid.
How youll make an impact
- Ensure compliance with all health safety and environmental regulations standards and internal policies
- Acting as a coach and advisor toward the supervision team concerning HSE management.
- Conduct comprehensive HSE risk assessments and implement effective control measures
- Lead incident investigations determine root causes and define corrective and preventive actions
- Implement and support factory-wide HSE programs audits inspections and improvement initiatives
- Monitor key HSE KPIs and prepare clear reports to drive transparency and decisionmaking
- Deliver HSE trainings and awareness programs that foster a strong safety culture
- Maintain and continuously improve emergency response plans including drills and preparedness activities
- Collaborate closely with teams to integrate HSE considerations into daily operations and longterm planning
- Drive the integration and continuous improvement of environmental practices by leading risk assessments implementing corrective actions and monitoring/reporting environmental performance against HSE objectives.
Your background
- Degree in Engineering Environmental Science Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within an industrial or energy environment
- Solid understanding of HSE regulations standards risk assessments and incident analysis
- Strong communication skills and the ability to conduct engaging trainings
- Experience working with HSE performance metrics reporting and continuous improvement tools
- Ability to influence and drive behavioral change across diverse teams
- Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Collaborative working style and ability to support crossfunctional factory operations
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
