Job Advert: Ad Hoc Receptionist (Days & Evenings)

Location: Prestigious building WC2A 1PL
Pay Rate: 13.85 per hour
Schedule: As and when required (ad hoc)
Availability: Monday to Friday Days & Evenings

We are seeking a flexible wellpresented Ad Hoc Receptionist to provide highquality frontofhouse cover at a prestigious location in WC2A. This role is ideal for someone with strong reception experience who is looking for occasional work and can commit to both daytime and evening shifts when needed.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering a professional welcoming reception service representing the site and supporting the front-of-house team during staff absences busy periods or special events.

Shift Patterns

  • Day Shifts: 8:00am 5:00pm
  • Evening Event Shifts: 4 hours usually starting at 5:00pm or 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting and assisting visitors
  • Managing the reception desk and signin process
  • Handling phone calls and email enquiries
  • Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area
  • Providing support during evening closed events
  • Communicating effectively with building staff and guests

Requirements

  • Previous reception experience is essential
  • Must be flexible and available for ad hoc cover
  • Professional reliable and wellpresented
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

This role is ad hoc meaning shifts will be offered as and when requiredperfect for someone looking to pick up occasional work in a highprofile environment.
