About the Role
As the Manager - Ground Systems Engineering youll lead a team of up to 15 engineers tasked with designing building testing operating and maintaining the systems that support Rocket Labs launch vehicles and spacecraft. Youll oversee large-scale test stands tooling and launch pad systems including vehicle-to-pad interfaces fluid systems structures mechanisms power systems and instrumentation.
This role is focused on delivering new technologies to automate and optimise test and launch operations while improving reliability across Rocket Labs NZ and US sites. Youll be responsible for growing your team driving innovation and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all ground systems.
