Position Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for functions related to teaching advising research service and recruiting. The Assistant Professor of Ancient Medieval or Early Modern History will teach 12 credit hours of undergraduate courses per semester in a physical classroom and online hold face to face office hours (10 hours per week) attend departmental and university meetings attend commencements and advise undergraduate students. Opportunities also exist to develop new courses aligned with the candidates expertise and departmental needs.

Required/Preferred Qualifications

Required: Ph.D. or ABD in European or World History.

Preferred: Completed Ph.D.; Both online and in-person college teaching experience.
