DevOps Engineer (cortAIx)

In this project you will work with best in class DevOps technologies collaborating with other colleagues by being part of a mixed Agile team. The team is responsible for developing deploying and maintaining the MLOps toolchain that enables the CortAIx Factorys AI development workflows.

As a DevOps engineer you will:

• Work in a highly dynamic and agile environment collaborating closely with software developers data scientists ML engineers and platform engineers

• Participate in requirements analysis architecture discussions sprint planning and estimations

• Contribute to the robustness scalability and security of the deployment environments (on premise and cloud)

• Document your work and participate in test automation and validation activities.

Besides the project context you will become part of a transversal department with experienced colleagues that offer DevOps & Cloud services to multiple activity domains. Mission / main responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines.

• Develop secure and maintain Kubernetesbased infrastructure.

• Implement and maintain end to end authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Deploy and maintain on premise (including air gapped) and cloud based environments.

• Collaborate on system robustness and configuration reliability.

• Contribute to toolchain development using scripting and software engineering skills.

• Participate actively in Agile team activities.

• Document communicate and standardize DevOps/MLOps procedures

You need to have:

• Technical study of Computer Science Informatics Mathematics Electronics or similar
• At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer having a solid understanding of the DevOps culture
• Strong knowledge of Linux and ability to create shell scripts
• Proficiency with Python
• Strong knowledge of services RESTful gRPC
• Experience with IAM services - Keycloak
• Solid containerization skills (Docker)
• Proven skills of Kubernetes & Helm for configuration & deployments
• Certificate management skills (SSL certificates)
• Experience with the GO programming language
• Passion about AI and MLOps
• Troubleshooting curiosity proactive attitude looking for answers solution oriented
• Previous collaboration with international/mixed development teams
• Experience in working with teams that are using the Agile methodologies
• Flexibility adaptability skills in order to evolve in changing environments

Nice to have:

• Previous exposure to observability/monitoring tools (Azure Monitor Grafana Prometheus)
• Ansible/Terraform skills
• Experience with Azure Cloud and desire to grow these skills
