Job Summary
We are seeking a high-calibre HR Officer to join an Outstanding secondary school in the Sheffield area. This Full-Time Permanent position (with Part-Time considered for the right candidate) starts in April 2026. We are looking for a proactive professional who can lead the schools HR function ensuring that all staffing and recruitment processes are managed with a pioneering spirit and a meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities
Lead the schools recruitment and selection processes ensuring high-calibre candidates are appointed
Manage the Single Central Record (SCR) to ensure 100% statutory compliance for all safeguarding audits
Provide professional advice to the Senior Leadership Team on employee relations and policy implementation
Coordinate the staff appraisal and performance management cycles across the academic year
Oversee the onboarding and induction of new staff to ensure a welcoming and professional integration
Qualifications and Experience
CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in an HR operational role ideally within a school or complex public sector setting
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional manner
Must have the right to work in the UK
