Job Summary
Our client is seeking a School Business Manager to join a well-regarded secondary school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. This is a full-time position beginning April 2026 responsible for overseeing finance HR and operational management across the school.
School Business Manager required on a full-time basis
Ofsted Good secondary school with strong leadership and improving outcomes
Strategic role supporting the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team
Well-established administrative and finance team
The successful School Business Manager will lead the operational functions of the school including financial management procurement HR processes and estates management. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure resources are used effectively and that the school remains compliant with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
This role offers the opportunity to play a central part in the strategic development of the school while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Experience and Qualifications
Experience working in school business management or education operations
Strong knowledge of financial management budgeting and procurement
Experience overseeing HR administration and compliance processes
