Salary: Up to 40000 Tronc
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join one of North Lincolnshires most respected independent restaurants known for its high standards loyal following and refined Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.
This is a hands-on role within a well-established kitchen where everything is built around fresh ingredients strong classical technique and consistent execution. The restaurant has built an outstanding local reputation for both food and service making it a busy and rewarding environment for an ambitious chef.
Working closely with the Head Chef and senior team you will play a key role in maintaining standards supporting the brigade and delivering consistently high-quality dishes during service.
The Role
Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Leading service and confidently managing sections during busy periods
Cooking fresh Mediterranean-inspired dishes to a consistently high standard
Assisting with prep planning ordering and stock control
Maintaining kitchen organisation hygiene and food safety standards
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the brigade
Contributing ideas towards menu development and seasonal dishes
This is a role suited to a chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced quality-led restaurant environment where teamwork consistency and attention to detail are essential.

The Ideal Candidate
Currently working as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a quality fresh-food kitchen
Experience within Mediterranean or Italian cuisine would be advantageous
Strong organisational skills and confidence during service
Passion for fresh ingredients and consistent cooking standards
A team player with a positive and professional approach
