CONTEXT:
One challenge for public infrastructures governance is that failing to turn AI opportunities in regulated legal-service workflows into controlled and actionable projects can quickly lead to stalled transformation unmanaged risks and loss of stakeholder trust in critical institutional processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our service is to bring assistance with a Consultant in the context of a confidential Belgian organization active in a regulated professional environment where digital transformation data initiatives and AI-enabled solutions must be aligned with business expectations technical constraints and cross-functional stakeholders.
The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:
- Develop action plans and manage timelines for AI-related initiatives.
- Detect project blockers and risks resolve them directly or escalate appropriately.
- Know your sphere of influence and when to delegate.
- Ensure project follow-up and communicate progress clearly and appropriately to different audiences including C-level profiles architects technical experts in network infrastructure development and data as well as business partners.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders such as legal experts analysts IT specialists developers data scientists BI analysts and more.
- Identify business opportunities where AI can bring value in collaboration with domain experts.
- Monitor technological developments in AI and translate them into concrete solutions.
- Challenge proposed solutions and test products.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of proposed solutions and products.
Profile:
- Proven senior experience as an IT Project Manager ideally in technological AI or data-driven environments.
- Knowledge and practical experience in the field of artificial intelligence.
- Proven experience in managing Data Projects.
- Proven experience in managing AI Projects.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Critical thinking autonomy organizational skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
- A hands-on mindset and the ability to engage directly with the technical aspects of a project.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Advanced stakeholder management capabilities.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch or French.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic as well).
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Valid single permit for non-EU citizens.
Success in industries often relies on key individuals demonstrating intrapreneurial leadership i.e. who continuously launch new initiatives and seek for excellence.
