As a Security Officer - Weekday Patrol in Savannah GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including perimeter checks to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor and/or vendor management by verifying credentials directing foot traffic and reporting access concerns per site policy.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs participate in shift briefings and coordinate with on-site personnel and/or local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
