The Frost Lab in Emorys School of Nursing is hiring a full-time Research Interviewer/Associate to begin late Spring or Summer 2026. Join a collaborative and mission-driven research group dedicated to understanding and supporting people living with serious illness and their family caregivers. Our lab investigates how caregivers navigate complex emotional social and structural challengesand how evidence-based insights can translate into better systems of care.
We are launching major NIH-funded mixed-methods studies focused on the preparedness personal narratives and traumatic experiences of family caregivers. As a Research Interviewer/Associate you will play a central role in shaping many aspects of this work from participant engagement to data collection study management qualitative and quantitative analysis dissemination and liaising with our Community Advisory Board. The PI and lab work as a team providing support for you to learn skills and strategies to maximize project success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies contacts corresponds with and interviews research study participants either in person in a clinical setting at a subjects residence or by telephone to obtain data for an assigned research project.
- Collects codes and enters study information into database and may assist in data compilation.
- Edits completed interview questionnaires for completeness legibility and accuracy.
- Obtains missing or questionable data.
- Maintains complete and accurate records and files pertaining to one or more research studies.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of administrative support customer service or other relevant experience.
- Data entry experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree or higher in psychology nursing sociology public health social work neuroscience interdisciplinary studies or a related field; research experience through engagement in research labs or research-related coursework; an interest in adult development aging and/or dementia.
- Experience working with human participants is a plus but not requiredenthusiasm and willingness to learn matter most.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
