Director / Senior Director Sales Singapore
A leading digital payments platform in Asia is expanding into Singapore and Southeast Asia. The company enables businesses to accept process and disburse payments at scale while offering solutions across payments capital and banking services.
With significant transaction volume and backing from prominent global investors the firm has established a strong presence in its home market and is now building a regional footprint to serve the rapidly growing digital and e-commerce ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
The company is seeking a CountrySales Head to lead its Singapore operations. This role offers the opportunity to shape the business in Southeast Asia own the Singapore P&L and build a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will be part of the core leadership team driving revenue adoption and market penetration while fostering a strong sales culture.
Project and forecast annual and quarterly revenue for Singapore set targets and implement action plans to achieve KPIs
Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients across multiple channels including direct sales partnerships and inside sales
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product engineering and marketing to inform product roadmaps and address market needs
Maintain a deep understanding of customer requirements and monitor market preferences
Resolve escalated client issues and provide advanced negotiation support
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders
Lead mentor and strengthen the sales team track performance metrics and address gaps
Motivate and engage the team using intrinsic and extrinsic incentives contests and recognition
Foster a collaborative culture where best practices are shared and team cohesion is prioritized
Act as a builder: execute initiatives from 0-1 and scale from 1-10
Proven experience in payments fintech or banking sales ideally with experience scaling early-stage businesses
Experience building and leading enterprise sales teams including second-line management
Direct field and management experience with mid-level and smaller accounts
Strong ability to engage and influence C-level executives
Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
Technical understanding of fintech and payment solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across internal and external stakeholders
