Join Our Family Safeguarding Team in Chorley
Were seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team. Working closely with a multidisciplinary group of professionals and reporting to the Consultant Social Worker and Team Manager youll play a vital role in supporting children and families to build on their strengths navigate challenges and achieve lasting positive change.
In this role you will complete meaningful assessments create childfocused plans and work directly with families to promote safety resilience and wellbeing. Youll also take part in reflective group supervision and ensure that all casework is clearly and analytically recorded on LCS. Some evening weekend or public holiday work may occasionally be required to meet service needs.

What Youll Do
Manage a diverse caseload of children and families
Undertake assessments and develop clear outcomefocused plans
Work within a multiagency environment to provide holistic support
Contribute to safeguarding and child protection processes
Ensure the voice of the child is at the centre of all your work
What Were Looking For
A qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration
Experience in childrens social care ideally within safeguarding
Strong communication assessment and analytical skills
A commitment to traumainformed relationshipbased practice
Newly qualified social workers are welcome and will be fully supported through the ASYE programme
