Primary Skill : Data analytics OSP Information Protection IP Analyst 9 Month AssignmentAbout the roleThe OSP IP Analyst will join AstraZeneca Enterprise Data Office Information Protection team to safeguard enterprise data through alert triage incident handling and log analytics that detect unauthorized access or data exfiltration The role works closely with responders data owners and compliance teams to improve detection response and prevention capabilitiesKey responsibilitiesAlert triage Review data loss prevention and access violation alerts assess severity validate incidents and update case management systemsIncident response Manage incidents from detection to closure including scope root cause containment recovery and lessons learnedLog analysis Review logs to identify unauthorized data movement correlate signals and recommend security improvementsStakeholder coordination Work with responders platform owners legal privacy and compliance teams to ensure timely resolutionDocumentation and reporting Maintain incident records evidence timelines and contribute to metrics reporting and process improvementsPreferred toolsServiceNow for incident and case managementMicrosoft Purview for data loss prevention and information protectionZscaler for web and cloud traffic monitoringExperience with SIEM SOAR cloud logs Microsoft 365 Azure and endpoint telemetry is beneficialExperience and skillsBackground in data protection or cybersecurity in complex environmentsExperience in incident response and root cause analysisStrong log analysis and investigation skillsKnowledge of GDPR and Data Protection regulationsStrong analytical problem solving and communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to learn new tools quicklyEngagement detailsDuration 9 monthsLocation based on team requirements with possible time zone collaborationReporting to Information Protection Lead Enterprise Data Office
