What youll do

Bagger Operator plays a vital role in operating an automated bagging system in a fast-paced environment ensuring proper quality stock rotation.

• Maintaining proper stock rotation by operating automated bagging system

• Organizing work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness ensuring workspace is clean and organized

• Ensure quality standards are met

• Perform other duties as required and participate in a rotating on-call schedule

Who were looking for

• Ability to regularly bend twist climb ladders and stairs open/close lids and stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift and move up to 25 kg (55 lbs) regularly

• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced physically demanding environment

• Comfortable working in a dusty noisy and variable-temperature environment

• Comfortable with use of personal protective equipment (e.g. hard hat safety boots etc.) as required

• Capable of operating equipment and working at heights and confined spaces when required

• Ability to work shift work is a MUST: Currently we are operating on a 10-hour shift schedule which will soon be transitioning to a 12-hour shift schedule. The new shifts will run from 10 am to 10 pm and from 10 pm to 10 am. We will be following 6 days on 6 days off pattern which will eventually move to a regular 12/4 shift pattern during the winter months

Youll also need

• Class 5 license an asset

• Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset

• Basic computer skills and numeracy and accuracy
