Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Architect to lead enterprise cloud architecture initiatives and support large-scale cloud migration and modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will serve as an AWS Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for designing scalable secure and cost-efficient cloud-native solutions within the AWS ecosystem.

This role requires strong technical leadership to guide engineering teams in implementing modern architectures including containerization serverless computing and event-driven systems while ensuring adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices. The AWS Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive cloud transformation and enable innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities AWS Architecture & Cloud Strategy

Design and implement secure scalable and resilient AWS cloud architectures.
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives aligned with enterprise technology strategy.
Ensure solutions follow AWS Well-Architected Framework and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define future-state cloud architecture and standards.

Architecture Implementation

Design containerized solutions using ECS and EKS.
Implement serverless architectures using Lambda API Gateway and Step Functions.
Develop event-driven architectures and scalable API management strategies.
Guide implementation of microservices-based architectures resilience patterns and observability frameworks.

Leadership & Technical Enablement

Serve as the AWS SME for enterprise cloud initiatives.
Mentor engineering teams on cloud-native development and AWS best practices.
Drive cloud governance cost optimization and operational excellence.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical architecture with business objectives.

AI / ML Integration

Integrate AI/ML services such as AWS Bedrock and SageMaker where applicable to support intelligent and data-driven applications.

Required Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience architecting solutions on AWS.
Deep expertise across AWS compute storage networking databases and messaging services.
Strong experience with containerization (ECS/EKS) and serverless architectures.
Proven experience leading enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Strong communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate).
Experience designing enterprise-scale multi-account AWS environments.
Exposure to AI/ML workloads on AWS such as SageMaker or Bedrock.
Experience implementing cloud governance frameworks and security best practices.
