Job Summary
$15000.00 Sign on Bonus $52041.60-$71557.20 Without National Certification $57241.60-$78707.20 With National Certification National Certification can be one of the following: NCCT AST NBSTSA If the candidate has significant CVOR specialty experience the salary can be negotiable. SCHEDULE: Primarily Day Shift 4x10-hour shifts per week On-call obligation required MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist Must have Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES: Scrub responsibilities across neonate pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric populations Ability to function independently within established protocols Competence in unit tasks assigned by the RN Sound judgment tact diplomacy and patient confidentiality Proficient computer and keyboarding skills SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: BCLS Certification Certification by an approved body (e.g. NBSTSA - CST or NCCT - TS-C)
