INTERVENTION SPECIALIST

Position Summary

Provides targeted support to students accessing grade-level curriculum in general education and inclusive settings. Implements individualized academic and behavioral IEP goals and delivers specially designed instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborates with teachers paraprofessionals related service providers and families to ensure students receive appropriate support across multiple settings.

Position Skill Set

Design and deliver specially designed instruction for academic and behavioral goals supporting students in general education and inclusive settings.
Deliver small-group and one-on-one instruction explicitly teaching grade-level skills and differentiating to meet the needs of each student.
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions to support academic growth and behavioral success.
Collaborate with general education teachers to implement an effective co-teaching model ensuring all students have access to grade-level curriculum and support.
