Help Desk Representative AZDPS Technical Services Division (TSD)
Location: Phoenix AZ (On-site)
Schedule: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM (Overnight Shift)
Duration: 6 Month Contract (Staff Augmentation)

Position Overview The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Technical Services Division is seeking a dedicated Help Desk Representative to provide overnight IT support for end users across the agency. This is a 100% on site customer-facing role performing technical triage issue resolution and escalation for critical IT systems.
Candidates must be local to Phoenix AZ available for in-person interviews and able to start within 2 weeks of receiving an offer. Position requires successful completion of a background check and drug screening through HireRight.
Responsibilities - Answer and document incoming calls for IT-related support requests.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for:
- Internet and network connectivity issues
- PC/Desktop system problems
- Printer issues
- VPN tunnel configurations
- Active Directory password resets
- Deliver excellent customer service during high pressure or contentious situations.
- Collaborate with software/hardware vendors to identify root causes of technical problems.
- Communicate system outages major incidents and updates to leadership.
- Coordinate with Tier II and Tier III technical teams to resolve complex issues and keep users informed.
- Maintain accurate logs and follow standardized help desk processes.
Required Qualifications - Prior IT Help Desk or technical support experience.
- Willingness and ability to work the 11:00 PM 7:00 AM overnight shift on-site.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop network and connectivity environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and situations professionally.
Preferred Qualifications - CompTIA A certification.
- Previous experience supporting law enforcement DPS or similar public safety organizations.
