Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data architectures using Azure services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
- Ensure data quality security and governance practices are followed
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
- Stay up-to-date with Azure technologies and data management trends
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of data systems
- Document architectural decisions and data models for reference
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- 8 years of experience in data architecture and design
- Strong proficiency in Azure Data services (Azure SQL Azure Data Lake Azure Synapse)
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau) is a plus
