Role Overview: Technical Design Authority responsible for bridging Enterprise Architecture strategy with engineering delivery. You will lead the Strangler migration of mission-critical Rail Transportation legacy systems (Mainframe/TPF) to a modern Java-based cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

Modernization Leadership: Lead the technical transition from IBM Mainframe/TPF to Java/Spring Boot microservices.
Architectural Translation: Convert high-level business capabilities into detailed technical specs for cloud-native and Event-Driven Architectures (EDA).
Integration Strategy: Design and govern API contracts and real-time integration patterns across multi-domain environments.
Engineering Oversight: Partner with dev teams to ensure scalability reusability and performance standards.
Agile Governance: Manage the Architectural Runway within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework.

Core Qualifications

Experience: 15 years in IT; 10 years in System Architecture.
Domain: Expert knowledge of Rail Transportation or large-scale logistics.
Tech Stack: Expert-level Java Spring Boot Kafka/Kinesis and Cloud (AWS/Azure).
Legacy Migration: Proven track record of migrating Mainframe/TPF to modern EDA.
Frameworks: 5 years of SAFe experience; working knowledge of TOGAF BizBok and DAMA.
