What impact youll make
As a Lead Operations Technical Support Engineer within the Offshore Operations team you will be an active contributor to safe and efficient turbine commissioning and operational performance optimization across Offshore Wind Turbine projects. You will play a key role in supporting offshore execution teams and Remote Operation Centers (ROC) ensuring technical excellence system reliability and timely project delivery during commissioning and service phases.

What youll do
- Provide first-level remote and onsite technical troubleshooting for wind turbine control and operation issues during commissioning and service.
- Manage and follow up technical cases Work Orders and Non-Conformities in accordance with project and quality processes.
- Support Work Order readiness by defining priorities and ensuring availability of parts tools instructions and required competencies.
- Coordinate daily planning calls with offshore vessels and Remote Operation Centers to optimize execution activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Controls teams to develop test plans self-tests and commissioning protocols.
- Lead technical improvements related to main controller HMI SCADA and turbine operational functions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on digitalization automation and EHS compliance.
What youll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering with extensive experience in wind turbine operation commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience with wind turbine main controllers including hardware software and HMI operation.
- Extensive experience in offshore wind farm operations with ability to work under pressure manage multiple priorities and adapt to complex operational environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine systems: electrical mechanical control systems and network/communication systems.
- Travel to multiple sites across the UK US and Spain (approximately 30% of the time).
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
