Marketing Internship
Status:Full-Time
Location:This position may be based in our Carmel IN; Columbus IN; or Columbus OH office
At Blue & Co. LLC the Marketing Intern will be a key member on the Marketing team assisting with the execution of marketing activities and programs. The position will support a variety of marketing initiatives for individual Directors (firms partners) and professional staff across all offices. The Marketing Intern who will report to a Marketing Manager will work with the Marketing teams Associate Marketing Managers Marketing Managers and Chief Growth Officer.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the execution of the marketing strategy for the firm (service line industry niche etc.) including but not limited to video marketing thought leadership social media website modifications etc.
- Collaborate with firm professionals to create novel and impactful thought leadership.
- Execute digital marketing-related tactical activities toincrease brand awareness; optimize SEO; track data analytics including click through rates trends attribution and campaign conversion
- Act as brand ambassador; support the Blue & Co. brand maintaining a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines promotional materials events and online presence
- Create and implement marketing programs and events for niche or service teams to achieve their growth goals
- Utilize our firms CRM system for lead tracking pipeline management and to conduct ROI on all marketing activities.
- Create online promotional marketing and messaging including e-mail campaigns and online promotions
- This position will require travel (up to 50%); Carpooling arrangements will be available if needed
What Were Looking For:
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills both written and oral; excellent presentation skills
- Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Superb organizational skills with strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize
- Interest in learning new software programs and digital marketing fundamentals including SEM/SEO Google Analytics social media and marketing automation
- Strong interpersonal skills (including being polished courteous professional); sound professional judgment
- An ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud -- Primarily Adobe InDesign Adobe Photoshop Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
- Experience with WordPress and/or HubSpot Marketing Automation software
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (unassisted)
Education Certifications and/or Experience:
- Working towards a bachelors degree in marketing graphic design public relations communications or related field
- Strong background in graphic design skills is a plus (please provide work samples)
- HubSpot or other CXM certifications are a plus
