As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Council Bluffs IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support operations through clear communication and friendly customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production warehouse office and exterior perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations and report findings.
• Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by verifying identification logging visitors and deliveries and directing drivers to designated check-in areas and routes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarms medical events and/or operational disruptions and notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation and perform security-related monitoring of cameras alarms and/or other site systems according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
