Job Description
As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Checks in Aldie VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal at a utilities location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols across the property stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with calm professional communication. You will document observations using site technology and support a welcoming experience for employees and visitors. Bring agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity to every shift.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel contractors and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events and communicating updates to site contacts.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings yards and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues for reporting.
- Control access by verifying credentials monitoring gates and/or entry points directing visitor traffic and assisting with deliveries and contractor check-in as required by post orders.
- Complete daily activity reports incident reports and patrol logs and use radios phones and/or other systems to coordinate with site personnel and local responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
