Description:

Architecture and Design

Design and implement advanced data masking solutions using Delphix for nonproduction environments

Develop and optimize masking algorithms tailored to specific data types and regulatory requirements including PII PHI and PCI data

Architect data virtualization solutions to support efficient test and development processes without compromising data security

Implementation and Configuration

Deploy and configure Delphix masking engines ensuring compatibility with various database platforms eg Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL DB2

Set up data masking templates rulesets and policies to support consistent and repeatable masking processes

Integrate Delphix with CICD pipelines to automate masking and virtualization workflows

Monitoring and Optimization

Monitor the performance of Delphix masking and virtualization processes identifying and addressing bottlenecks or inefficiencies

Analyze masking jobs and logs to ensure successful execution and troubleshoot failures

Continuously refine masking rules and processes to align with evolving business needs and compliance requirements

Compliance and Governance

Ensure that masking solutions comply with enterprise policies and regulatory standards eg GDPR HIPAA CCPA

Conduct audits and reviews of masked data to validate compliance with masking policies

Collaborate with privacy compliance and audit teams to provide reports and evidence of data masking effectiveness

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

Perform risk assessments for nonproduction data environments to identify gaps in data protection

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with sensitive data exposure in nonproduction systems

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

Work closely with application development testing and infrastructure teams to understand data requirements and implement masking solutions

Act as a subject matter expert SME for data masking and virtualization providing guidance and support to stakeholders

Partner with vendors and Delphix support teams to resolve complex issues and drive enhancements

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Research and implement advanced Delphix features and updates to enhance masking and virtualization capabilities

Evaluate new tools and technologies that can complement Delphix for comprehensive data protection

Automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency through scripting and tool integration

Mentorship and Leadership

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers fostering knowledge sharing and skill development

Lead data masking projects ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain detailed documentation for masking processes configurations and SOPs

Develop reports and dashboards to track data masking coverage performance and compliance metrics

Incident Response and Troubleshooting

Investigate and resolve incidents related to data masking failures or security concerns in nonproductive
