Job Summary:
The Building-Level Mentor Facilitator supports building mentors and new teachers to the Windham School District This role serves as a liaison between mentors mentees and school leadership to ensure effective onboarding professional growth and instructional support aligned with district goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the building-level mentoring program.
- Match mentors with mentees and monitor progress throughout the school year.
- Facilitate mentor/mentee meetings training and collaborative sessions.
- Provide guidance on instructional strategies classroom management and school procedures.
- Serve as a communication link between mentors new staff and administration.
- Maintain documentation related to mentoring activities and program requirements.
- Support a positive professional culture that promotes teacher growth and retention.
Qualifications:
- Currently participates in the Windham School District Mentor program.
- Strong communication organization and facilitation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trusting professional relationships.
