Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Arnold AFB- Tullahoma TN
Canvas is seeking a qualified individual to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force in software support associated with specific needs in the Program Management Division at the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) at Arnold AFB TN. The candidate will provide a wide range of services including data entry Database Development Sharepoint List Development and Building Applications to form a dashboard for PMD.
Duties:
Provide development of dashboard and other tools using Power BI Power Apps Pivot Tables and various other software tools.
Data Entry or transfer of spreadsheets and large amount of date into a Sharepoint List.
Desired Skills:
Proficient in building Microsoft Sharepoint Lists
Proficient in Data Mining
Proficient in Transfer of Large Spreadsheet into Sharepoint List or Pivot tables.
Proficient in using Power BI to display data from Sharepoint Lists
Proficient in building Applications with Power Apps to automate processes
Experience in other programming languages highly desired
Understanding Financial Plans and Spend Plans is plus
Ability to communicate well in an office environment
Proficient in Excel Word Powerpoint and general PC programs
Requirements:
Minimum Education:
Scientist and Engineer 1-BS in Computer Science Software Engineering OR substitution as described below
Scientist and Engineer 2-BS in Computer Science Software Engineering OR substitution as described below
Scientist and Engineer 3-BS in Computer Science Software Engineering OR substitution as described below
Minimum Experience:
Scientist and Engineer 1-NONE
Scientist and Engineer 2-1-3 years of experience
Scientist and Engineer 3- 3-10 years of experience
Substitutions:
A Bachelors degree can be substituted for with 6 years of relevant experience OR an Associates degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
And Masters can be substituted for with 12 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors and 8 years of relevant experience.
Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain Secret clearance required for job. May begin work with an interim clearance.
Other Essential Job Functions:

Basic Computer Skills
Microsoft Office(Word and Excel) experience
5-10% travel may be required
