As a Security Officer - Community Rover Patrol in Santa Clara CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with shoppers tenants and site contacts while responding to concerns and supporting day-to-day operations. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants shoppers and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail mall location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate resources and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior common areas entrances parking areas loading zones and the perimeter monitoring for unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with crowd management during peak shopping hours and special events helping to maintain order and supporting mall operations.
• Document daily activities incidents and observations in written and/or electronic logs and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
